New rythm

Oh, these days have been busy and the blog has had to wait. Today is actually the first night in almost two weeks that I came home from work at a normal time and have a regular evening ahead of me. Well, "regular" in the sense of our new rythm, staying together, but living apart. Friends and colleagues wonder what it feels like, but I cannot tell yet. I guess I think it's working just fine so far. :-)

Looking through the image archive I found these images from our Easter birding tour. It was a day full of contrasting weather. The Whooper Swan was basking in bright sunlight at Styran, south of Stockholm. From there we continued south to the coast, where the weather shifted into very dense fog with a chilling slow breeze.

Anders & Claudia - I love the contrast in these pictures. It's amazing how one single day can present you with so many different climates and photographic challenges - well done!

Lisa and I empathize with the problem of work getting in the way of birding and blogging!!!

All the best

PS - Look us up if you ever come birding to the East coast of the US
